By accessing or using https://getqrforge.site(the "Service "), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ( "Terms "). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

These Terms apply to all visitors and users of the Service. Your continued use of the Service after any modifications to these Terms constitutes acceptance of those changes.

QR Forge provides a free, browser-based QR code generation tool. The Service allows you to create QR codes encoding various types of data (URLs, contact information, WiFi credentials, and others), customize their visual appearance, and download the resulting images.

All QR code generation is performed client-side in your browser. QR Forge does not store, transmit, or process the content you encode.

You are permitted to use QR Forge to:

• Generate QR codes for any lawful purpose, personal or commercial
• Download and distribute the QR code images you create
• Use downloaded QR codes in print, digital, and broadcast media
• Include QR codes in products you sell or distribute
• Link to https://getqrforge.site from your own website, blog, or application (no affiliate arrangement is required or implied)

You must not use QR Forge to:

• Generate QR codes that link to illegal content, including but not limited to malware, phishing pages, CSAM, or content that violates applicable law
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape at scale, or overload the Service through automated requests in a manner that degrades availability for other users
• Misrepresent QR Forge as your own product or remove or alter our branding when referring to the Service publicly
• Use the Service in any way that violates any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation

QR Forge has no means to control what you encode in a QR code after it is generated and downloaded. Responsibility for the content and destination of QR codes you create rests entirely with you.

The QR Forge website, its design, code, and content (excluding third-party libraries) are the property of QR Forge and its creators, protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

The underlying libraries used for QR generation (including qr-code-styling) are open-source and distributed under their respective licences.

The QR code format itself is an open standard (ISO/IEC 18004) and is not subject to royalty or patent restrictions for generation or use.

Because all QR generation happens in your browser and we receive none of the content you enter, you retain full ownership of any data or content you encode in your QR codes.

If you submit a message via our contact form, you grant QR Forge a limited licence to use that content solely for the purpose of responding to your enquiry.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS " AND "AS AVAILABLE " WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We do not warrant that QR codes generated are scannable by all devices in all conditions — scanning reliability depends on print quality, size, contrast, and the scanner used.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, QR Forge AND ITS CREATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.

This limitation applies whether the alleged liability is based on contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or any other basis, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

We aim to keep QR Forge available at all times but make no guarantees of uptime. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time, with or without notice, without liability to you.

Because QR codes are generated in your browser, any codes you have already generated and downloaded remain usable regardless of the Service's availability.

We may update these Terms at any time. The "Last updated " date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
