A vCard QR code encodes contact information in the vCard 3.0 format (BEGIN:VCARD … END:VCARD), a standard recognized by every major mobile OS. iOS saves it to Contacts automatically; Android prompts the user to save. Technically vCard 3.0 supports embedded photos (PHOTO field), but the resulting QR becomes very dense. We recommend a logo in the QR center instead of embedding a photo in the vCard data.
